To Begin With, God Created--
"This book is an attempt to bring the parts of the divided yet unified Christian Bible into dialogue with one another in respect to the theology of Creation so that the total biblical tradition can once again come alive. Creation is the Alpha and Omega of a theology that takes seriously the Jewish dimension of Christianity. The special appeal of this project, which is indebted to the Christian-Jewish dialogue, is that here an Old Testament scholar and a New Testament scholar together produce a book in which their differing perspectives are in constant encounter."--BOOK JACKET.Title Summary field provided by Blackwell North America, Inc. We Are Created in God's Image'
When God created man in His own image. He purposed that mankind (both man and woman) would resemble God in certain ways and share certain characteristics of His divine nature. God loves and values life. He knew us all before we were even born, God has a purpose and a destiny for every one of our lives. Your knowledge or lack of knowledge concerning this truth does not alter the fact that God has a purpose and a destiny for your life. So how can I discover and fulfil my God-given destiny? – Before we were even born – God ordain our days and then “knitted” us together in the womb. “Made in God’s Image,” All parents are to dedicate their time to teach their children when they are still young about definition of “destiny.” Destiny is defined as, “A course or path in life, that includes both the God-given destination you are seeking at life’s end, and your own faith-filled journey toward that destination. Children will learn that even though all people are made in God’s image, God deliberately made them individually unique as wonderful and beautiful to displays of his power and glory. Ecclesiastes 12.1 NIV: Remember your Creator in the days of your youth, before the days of trouble come. 1. Know that we all have a God-given destiny. 2. Know that our destiny can be life changing. 3. Know that our destiny keeps us motivated, being led by The Holy Spirit always.
There is also a moral likeness in our creation . God is holy even as we are called to be holy. Adam was holy in his original state in the garden. If Adam had not sinned this nature would have been passed on to his offspring."
Genesis, The Reality of God's Creation
First, God believed, and then he called what he had inside his heart to existence. In the book, The Reality of God's Creation, we can understand that the reality our eyes see day by day is not nearly what the Father wished for us, and through Jesus Christ, we have access to this reality lost by sin. God's Word is the most potent encyclopedia in life. However, it would be a mysterious unknown if there were not God's great will through the anointing of the Spirit, both to write it and to interpret it. From this formula, the result comes-revelation. In possession of it, what remains is to live enjoying a life carefully planned by our God and Father. Moreover, nothing is better than knowing how everything was planned. Just know the manual of life-the Word of God-consulting how everything was planned in the beginning. (Pastor Atlas Freire) Purpose and destiny! To discover the purpose of human existence is undoubtedly one of the most-thought-out questions of our time. We live in an age when our society is hungry for a purpose, for a mission, for a real sense. Who is a human being? What is your place within the planet and society? When God created man, he had a goal; nothing was done by chance, and everything is wholly connected according to his magnificence. You have a purpose and a destiny, and until you find out which one, you will never be complete and successful in your life. Once you know your purpose, God will show your destiny.
In the book, The Reality of God's Creation, we can understand that the reality our eyes see day by day is not nearly what the Father wished for us, and through Jesus Christ, we have access to this reality lost by sin."
In His Own Image and Likeness
This book argues that, within the Priestly tradition, human creation marks the replacement of God's divine community, signifying the moment when God takes control over that community, separates himself, and institutes monotheism.
This book is about nothing less than Genesis 1, or human creation."

Why Didn't God Do That to Begin With?
Have you ever wondered whether God could have created a world in which sin and therefore evil never had the possibility of existing? And if God could have created such a world, why didn’t He do that to start with? In Why didn’t God do that to begin with? Raymond Navarro examines that very question. At the final consummation of this world we know that God will certainly bring about a world, a new heavens and a new earth in which there is absolutely no possibility of sin, thereby creating an environment where death and evil are non-existent. If God is certain to bring this type of world into existence, why didn’t He do that to begin with, and what could have possibly been the purpose or reasoning behind such a decision? Why didn’t God do that to begin with? is a must-read for anyone ready to get serious about answering the tough questions of our Christian faith.

God's Mighty Acts in Creation
Nature reveals majestic truths about God—truths that help us know him better. God’s Mighty Acts in Creation helps children recognize those wonders, and what they tell us about their Creator. As Starr Meade, author of Mighty Acts of God, guides young readers through the six days of creation, she points to how creation displays the wisdom and power of God. She also helps readers explore and apply other references to nature in the Bible by answering questions such as: What did Jesus mean when he claimed to be the true vine? How is all flesh like grass, and how should that affect the way we live? What was God revealing about himself when he made the sun stand still for Joshua? Each reading includes a key verse, stimulating questions, and engaging activities, all geared toward elementary-aged children. Whether parents use this book for family devotions or children read it for themselves, all will learn how God’s glory, wisdom, sovereignty, and power are revealed in all of creation. This is a companion volume to God’s Mighty Acts in Salvation.

Creation
A book of breathtaking scope, in which the mystery of how the world began infolds in an epic narrative that sets the Gods against the world's great artists, their rivals in creative energy. Despite the best efforts of scientists, theologians and aestheticians, creation and creativity both remain mysterious. How did our world begin? Where do we come from? And how can we understand or describe that obscure source we call imagination, from which works of art emerge? Peter Conrad’s book investigates these mysteries, in a survey of cultural history that begins with the differing accounts of creation and advances to our own world, where creativity seems to have warped into a fierce delight in destruction. He describes the long illness and eventual demise of the Christian God, and shows how artists and scientists were ready and eager to take over a creative role that was once a heavenly prerogative. At the same time, he probes the creative impulse of writers, painters and musicians, celebrating the audacity of the restless, rebellious beings who first questioned the limits placed on thoughts and dreams, supplemented nature with their own creations, and came to be known as artists.

And God Said...
Do you dismiss the existence of God because of the popular attitude ridiculing the creation story and the garden of Eden story in the Bible, claiming there is no basis in science for it to be true? Author Ruth Anne Carpenter takes on a new approach to the age-old mystery of creation in And God Said: A Study of Creation and the Garden of Eden. She skillfully incorporates the science behind God's creation of the earth-the land, the waters, the vegetation, the animals-the moon, the sun, and finally man and woman to show readers that science and Christianity can in fact coexist. Carpenter then outlines the remaining individual verses of these prophecies, exploring the meaning and impact of the first marriage between Adam and Eve and their eventual banishment from the garden of Eden after succumbing to the power of Satan and partaking of the forbidden fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Ruth Anne Carpenter has written an enlightening study of creation that reconciles scientific studies with spiritual truth. It will encourage you to investigate into your own soul and explore your own faith more fully. Ruth Anne Carpenter lives in Newport News, Virginia, with her husband of thirty-three years. She has embraced her faith and has studied the Bible her whole life.

Creation Care
Creation Care invites readers to open their Bibles afresh to explore the place of the natural world within God's purposes. It offers a bold framework and practical suggestions for a faithful Christian response to the scriptural teaching about the created world, ultimately inviting readers into a joyful vision of the world as God's creation.
What is unique about Christian creation care compared with other approaches to 'environmental' issues? How does creation care fit within the charge to proclaim the gospel and care for the poor?"
Creation Rediscovered
Creation Rediscovered, by Jeffery M. Leonard, guides readers through a contextual reading of the Bibles creation stories. Over the last two centuries, few subjects have generated as much controversy for Christians as has creation. The whethers, whens, and hows of creation have often become a battlefield in which the pitched forces of competing sidesDarwinists and creationists, young-earthers and old, figurativists and literalistshave struggled for the upper hand. Like most battles, this fight has tended to inflict a fair amount of collateral damage along the way. This is especially true for those put in the terrible position of feeling they have had to choose between the Bible they have fallen in love with and the science they have studied. In this book, Jeffery Leonard writes to fellow travelers in the faith who want to take the biblical text seriously, while at the same time appreciate sciences exploration of what we consider to be Gods creation. It is his contention that setting the Bibles creation texts back within their ancient context allows us to do both of these things. Indeed, Leonard believes that when we reread what the Bible has to say about creation in its original setting, we find meaning in the text far more profound than what we have previously imagined. Key points and features: • Written by a Bible scholar • Unique, timely, and fresh interpretation • Helps readers see the Bibles creation stories as vessels of healing and hope in Gods larger plan for humanity • Attempts to redirect Christians to read the ancient creation stories within the context in which they were written

Now Let Us Make Man
After God had modeled our universe in six days, He created the most magnificent and sophisticated creature to carry out the task of creating it; Man.Out of clay and mire He made Him in His image, to resemble Him, to be the God in this world. Inspired by the Sepher Yetzirah and the Kaballah, Now Let Us Make Man is a philosophical treatise providing details about the creation of the universe and Man; the God in it. It explores what being created in God's image means, as the primary reason why man ought to be loved and honoured.Known for his publication 'The Ethicist', Mohau Ngoepe further teaches the readers on how to love and honour mankind, since the only love one can give to God is by loving mankind.

And MAN CREATED GOD presents the Agnostic view point using science, history and logic while denying all religious belief and faith in revelations from a Creator or God. Reviews And MAN CREATED GOD is vigorous and clearly written. Readers should have no doubt about the position you take, the positions you challenge, and why you find religious beliefs doubtful. It articulates very well what you call the agnostic position. Charles F. Kielkopf, Professor of Philosophy, Ohio State University

God Created Man in His Image and Likeness
Everyone who reads the Bible must admit that it tells us to do things that we never have done and cannot do in our fleshly bodies. One reason is that God our Creator is telling us what He wants us to be and do as created in His image and likeness. Our purpose is in our image and likeness of God our Creator, not like the dust of the ground or the flesh of our parents. Most children dont know that they are created in the image and likeness of God, and their parents have not asked God for His spirit for their children so they can be taught this vital truth. The reason parents dont ask God for His spirit for their children is because they dont recognize the need for Him. There are several things mankind cannot do in the flesh, and they must recognize their origin in the image and likeness of God. Mankind must recognize being in the image and likeness of God to, first, love God with all their being and love his neighbors as himself; second, to obey God and his parents as required in Gods word; third, to trust God with all his heart; fourth, to worship God in spirit and in truth; and fifth, to glorify God in his body and spirit, which are God. The devil does not want mankind to know that he is created in the image and likeness of God because man will always defeat Satan and fulfill God's will.
our perfect God cannot be destroyed, how much more perfection cannot be destroyed by mankind who God created perfect. Perfection cannot, will not, and has no need to be destroyed. Perfection produces perfection."

Christians and Evolution
The debate surrounding creation and evolution divides Christians, particularly evangelicals. It has been a stumbling block for young Christians and a point of contention for the new Atheists. Professor R. J Berry assembles a wide range of distinguished contributors, all convinced, committed and orthodox Christian believers, each of whom has undertaken a conceptual journey, based on sound science and careful theology, from a creationist position to one in which God's creation and the processes of evolution are properly and credibly integrated. Christians and Evolution is a luminous volume that offers a pathway for doubters, sceptics and conservative Christians to embrace the overall scientific consensus of the evolutionary approach, while holding solidly and without reservation to the doctrines of God's creation and God's omnipotence. This text is a must-read for anyone interested in the creation v evolution debate.

This book on the first chapters of Genesis is not concerning the literal creation of the universe. There is more than an ample supply of commentaries on how God created the earth and the heavens. Sacred Places
Sacred Places is a book that looks at the biblical theology of place, exploring its central importance in Gods creation and mission. It takes its readers on an expository journey through place, from the Garden of Eden to the New Jerusalem, discovering the pattern of placement, displacement, and replacement in life and faith. If you are a Christian seeking to understand the Bibles teaching on place and how that affects both our faith and lives in the world, then this book is for you. It will open your eyes to the central importance of place and give you direction on how you can apply a healthy understanding of place to your life as a disciple of Jesus Christ, making you a better place maker and dweller. The thesis of this book is that place is far more important than we ever could have imagined. I am specifically proposing that (1) places are sacred because of Gods decree and personal presence, (2) place plays a major role in Gods creative and redemptive purposes, and (3) Gods people are called to be both place makers and dwellers. Three Views on Creation and Evolution
For Christians, the issues raised by the different views on creation and evolution are challenging. Can a "young earth" be reconciled with a universe that appears to be billions of years old? Does scientific evidence point to a God who designed the universe and life in all its complexity? Three Views on Creation and Evolution deals with these and similar concerns as it looks at three dominant schools of Christian thought. Proponents of young earth creationism, old earth creationism, and theistic evolution each present their different views, tell why the controversy is important, and describe the interplay between their understandings of science and theology. Each view is critiqued by various scholars, and the entire discussion is summarized by Phillip E. Johnson and Richard H. Bube. The Counterpoints series provides a forum for comparison and critique of different views on issues important to Christians. Counterpoints books address two categories: Church Life and Bible and Theology. Complete your library with other books in the Counterpoints series.

The Acts of God
In The Acts of God: The Good, The Bad and The Ugly, Prince Aremi Amachree is intended to bring you to a closer understanding about the Kingdom of Heaven or to give you a balanced understanding about the kingdom of Heaven. The book intends to justify God in all that He has done and to raise or expose the weaknesses of the human understanding about the kingdom of Heaven. The book will give you a better understanding about the Kingdom of God and you will have better answers to questions such as: Why did God create both good and evil? Does God actually know the future at all times? Does anything happen that God did not plan? Is evil also good and we have not understood it? Can you refuse evil God has asked you to do? Can anything stop God's plan? These and many more complex questions will be answered by the time you have finished reading this book. The book outlines whether or not God is the God of everything or whether He's the God of just some things and not others. That is, whether God is the good, the bad and the ugly. You have known the first steps about the kingdom of Heaven (the goodness); for you to know the steps after these steps, you need to read this book to help you understand those steps. Take a journey with me to this Truth - How God works. "The LORD killeth, and maketh alive: he bringeth down to the grave, and bringeth up. The Experiment at Philadelphia: Did Einstein Discover God?If God Created All Things Then Who Created God? What Was and Happened Before the Big-Bang The Philadelphia Experiment was Einstein's experiment in which he had not only discovered, in 1943, the way to make things invisible and transport them at great speeds, but also positively proven scientifically, physically and spiritually that God Almighty exists! He had literally discovered God! That question, Is there a God?, that's been going through people's minds for so long, discussed on the street corner, talked about on the porch on a hot summer's night, is now a proven fact... YES THERE IS A GOD! Did Einstein in the Philadelphia Experiment make contact with UFO beings who gave him advance knowledge of all things in which Einstein later destroyed fearing what the world would do with that knowledge? Are the first 14 chapters of this book that advance knowledge Einstein received? Does it reveal the deepest darkest secrets of God and Satan and how the Universe works? Does it answer these questions many have asked since the beginning of the world, which is known as the mystery of God?: Why am I here? What's the true meaning of life? How was everything created? Who are God and the Devil? If God created all, who created God? If He is the first in creation, where and how did He come into existence? Why does God allow evil in the world? Why do good things happen to bad people and bad things to good people? Why, if we all came from Adam and Eve, who were Jewish, are there Gentiles? Are Gentiles children of devils? Is that why the Jews are God's chosen race? Why in the Garden of Eden was the knowledge of good on the tree forbidden? How old is the earth? Why is God known as the Trinity? Why have, down through the ages, religions done such evil? What, when and how did the "big bang" start? What happened to Satan? Who is he really and what did he do in the past? What are his beliefs and ways? What is he and God literally made of? What is the meaning of the great pyramids and sphinx? Is there scientific proof that God exists? Read this whole book for the answers to all these tough questions and be sure to read the introduction first before reading the rest of this book. It will help you better understand this whole book.
